Gabriel Tomberlin ("we", "us", "our") operates the Mekanix mobile application ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your choices.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Data Stored on Your Device

Mekanix stores your game progress, settings, cosmetic inventory, and preferences locally on your device. This data is not transmitted to our servers.

2. Third-Party Services

2.1 Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App uses Google AdMob to display interstitial and rewarded ads. AdMob may collect certain information to serve and measure ads, including:

• Device identifiers (e.g., IDFA, when authorized)
• IP address (for approximate location/ad relevance)
• App interaction data (e.g., ad impressions, clicks)

Google's use of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

2.2 Consent & Tracking

For users in regions where consent is required (e.g., the European Economic Area), the App uses the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present a consent form before personalized ads are requested.

On iOS, the App may request permission to track your activity across other apps and websites via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. You can decline this prompt; ads will still be shown but may be less relevant.

2.3 In-App Purchases (Apple)

The App offers an optional "Remove Ads" purchase processed entirely by Apple. We do not collect or store any payment information. Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

2.4 Game Center

The App integrates with Apple Game Center for leaderboards and achievements. Game Center data is managed by Apple under their privacy policy.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or contact information.
• We do not require account creation.
• We do not operate servers that store your personal data.
• We do not sell personal data to third parties.

4. Children's Privacy

Mekanix is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

5. Your Choices

• Ad Tracking: You can deny or reset tracking permission in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
• Remove Ads: Purchase "Remove Ads" within the App to disable interstitial ads. Rewarded ads (opt-in) may still be available.
• Reset Data: Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
